About A Bridge Home
Founded in the Fall of 2024, A Bridge Home is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to rebuilding and strengthening communities impacted by natural disasters. We provide support and essential resources to restore critical infrastructure, fostering stability and resilience where it’s needed most.
In the last few months, we have grown into a formal nonprofit, tackling the immense challenges of rebuilding an unprecedented number of private bridges, roads, and essential infrastructure that prevent community members from accessing their homes. With a focus on treating Hurricane Helene survivors with dignity, we work to help families safely regain access to their homes by coordinating and rebuilding vital infrastructure.
We are currently expanding our capacity by building partnerships with skilled engineers, engineering programs, workers, and other key resources. We are also strategically planning how to restore infrastructure on this scale. What we do know, is that it will take significant community support to help our neighbors return safely to their homes.
At A Bridge Home, we’re dedicated to rebuilding communities, one bridge at a time.
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, our focus is assisting the design, repair, and rebuild of:
Bridges
Culverts
Embankments
Retaining walls
Private roads
Wells
